The Commercial Derivative Aircraft (CDA) Airworthiness Certification Data is used to document the certification process for CDA, substantiating data, and compliance artifacts. The data is used to support the Government's airworthiness type certification of the aircraft design. The data is limited to what is required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification process. Additional data required by the United States Air Force (USAF) airworthiness process is separately addressed.
a. This Data Item Description (DID) is applicable to the acquisition and modification of CDA.
b. This DID contains the format, content, and intended use information for the data deliverable resulting from the work task described in the solicitation.
c. This DID supersedes DI-SESS-81984.
Preparation Instructions
1Reference documentsThe applicable issue of the documents cited herein, including their approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions, shall be as specified in the contract.
2FormatThe CDA Airworthiness Certification Data deliverable shall be in the contractor's format.
3ContentThe CDA Airworthiness Certification Data shall contain the following:
