The Power Source Quality Analysis Report documents the predicted power quality of an electrical power system as compared to the standard power characteristics defined by MIL-STD-704. The data will be used to verify the interoperability of electrical power sources and utilization equipment
This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format, content and intended use information for the Power Source Quality Analysis Report resulting from work tasking described by the contract statement of work.

3.1A description of the model
3.2A description of the methods used to generate the model
3.3A justification of the validity of the selected modeling approach
3.4The results of modeling the electrical power systemincluding:
3.4.1Power quality of each electrical power source within the system performance during all operating conditionsincluding source failures
3.4.2A comparison of the power quality results to the power quality limits in MIL-STD-704
3.4.3The ability of system utilization equipment to operate when provided with nominal, abnormal, and emergency power from each power source within the system
3.4.4The limits of the ability of system utilization equipment to handle transient conditions outside of MIL-STD-704
3.4.5Performance of the power regulation equipment when connected to the utilization equipmentincluding:
3.4.5.1Regions of stable operation
3.4.5.2Amount of positive control margin
3.4.6The control logic and states of the electric power system including operation during normal, abnormal, and source failure conditions
