The Aircraft and Engine Direct Parts and Material Monthly Status Report is used to identify Aircraft and Engine parts and material status each month In Accordance With (IAW) the Commander Naval Air Forces Instruction (COMNAVIRFORINST) 4790.2C
This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format, content, and intended use information for the data deliverable resulting from the work task described in the contract.
Preparation Instructions
1Reference DocumentsThe applicable issue of the documents cited herein, including their approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions, shall be as specified in the contract.
2FormatContractor format is acceptable. The report shall be in Microsoft Office 2016 file format (i.e., 2016 Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) and shall be completely accessible (including formulas) to the Government. Forms, letters, and signed documents will be in fully-searchable Portable Document Format (.pdf). The plan shall be free of proprietary markings.
3ContentThe plan shall contain the following:
3.1Cover PageThe cover page shall contain the following information:
3.1.1Title and identification of the system, component, program, or project
3.1.2Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) number and title
3.1.4Date of report and period covered
3.1.6Preparing activity and location of the site where prepared
3.1.7Security classification, when requiredin accordance with DoD Manual (DoDM) 5200.01 Volume 2, DoD Information Security Program: Making of information. (copies of the document can be obtained at: https://www.esd.whs.mil/.)
3.1.8Distribution Statement as appropriatein accordance with Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 5230.24, Distribution Statements on Technical Documents (copies of this document can be obtained at: https://www.esd.whs.mil/)
3.2The each Aircraft and Engine Direct Partsand Material Monthly Status Report shall contain the following information:
