The Monthly Maintenance Plan (MMP) will be used to identify Organizational level (O-Level) maintenance data In Accordance With (IAW) the Commander Naval Air Forces Instruction (COMNAVIRFORINST) 4790.2C.
The Data Item Description (DID) contains the format, content, and intended use information for the data deliverable resulting from the work task described in the contract.
Preparation Instructions
1Reference DocumentsThe applicable issue of the documents cited herein, including their approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions shall be as specified in the contract.
2FormatContractor format is acceptable and must address all requirements listed in section 3 of this DID. The report will be in Microsoft Office 2016 file format (i.e. 2016 Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) and must be completely accessible (including formulas) to the Government. Forms, letters, and signed documents will be in fully searchable Portable Document Format (.pdf) file. The plan will be free of proprietary markings.
3ContentThe plan will contain the following:
3.1Cover PageThe cover page will contain the following information:
3.1.1Title and identification of the system/component/program/project
3.1.2CDRL number and title
3.1.4Date of plan and period covered
3.1.6Preparing activity and location of the site where prepared
3.1.7Security classification, when required
3.1.8Distribution Statement
3.2The O-level MMP shall contain the following minimum information
3.2.1Projected known operational commitmentsincluding number of flights, flight hours, and aircraft requirements obtained from the Operations Department.
3.2.2Aircraft scheduled inspection due dates
3.2.3Schedule of phase or Periodic Maintenance Inspection (PMI) planning meetings
3.2.4Dates of scheduled receipts or transfers of aircraft and required maintenance actions
3.2.5Test, Measure, and Diagnostics Equipment (TMDE) calibration requirementsinclude lists of TMDE due for calibration and TMDE not yet returned from calibration. MEASURE format 800, if verified as accurate, may be used to determine these requirements, but publication of both TMDE lists shall be included in the MMP.
3.2.6Schedule of technical training(A separate Monthly Maintenance Training Plan may be prepared and distributed with the MMP as an alternative (paragraph 10.1).
3.2.7Forced removal items, such as, high time components
3.2.8Technical Directive (TD) compliance requirements
3.2.9Current list of Quality Assurance (QA) personnel; Quality Assurance Representatives (QARs), Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representatives (CDQARs), and Collateral Duty Inspectors (CDIs)
3.2.10List of QA audited programs as well as program managers and monitors
3.2.11Schedule of personnel due Egress/Explosive Systems CheckoutThe schedule shall include all personnel assigned Temporary Assigned Duty (TAD) to duties outside the command and the date TAD commenced.
3.2.12SE scheduled inspection due dates
3.2.13Scheduled Non Destructive Inspection (NDI) requirements
3.2.14Current designated plane captains
3.2.15A narrative or visual assessment metric from service unique maintenance personnelwhich demonstrates the organization's ability to perform expected maintenance with the current level of qualified personnel.
3.2.16Current designated Ground Maintenance Vehicle Operators (GMVOs) and Unmanned Air Systems (UAS) squadrons only
3.2.17A listing of all Joint Deficiency Reporting System Deficiency Reporting (JDRS DR) Submitters (Approve and Submit Web site DRs Message Release Authority) and JDRS DR Drafters (draft only)
3.3Report PreparerName of person(s) preparing report, email, and telephone number(s).
3.4AppendicesInclude appendices where applicable: tables, references, charts, or other descriptive material. Each appendix will be identified and referenced in the appropriate area of this plan.
