The Service Action Support Report is used to document and track Service Actions (SAs) released by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and aircraft, subsystem, and component manufacturers, respectively.

This report provides summary information on each issued SA to help determine whether or not SAs will be incorporated on the aircraft and define the plan for the logistic implementation of those SAs.

This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format, content, and preparation instructions for the data product resulting from the work task specified in the contract SOW.

3.1.9Destruction notice

3.2AbstractThe Report shall contain an abstract defining the purpose and use of the report in support of the program.

3.3ContentsThe Report shall contain the following information for each Service Action:

3.3.1SA identification

3.3.2SA title

3.3.3SA issue date

3.3.4Date each SA is forwarded

3.3.5Air Transport Association (ATA) Chapter associated with each SA

3.3.6List of aircraft affected by each SA (aircraft effectivity)

3.3.7Description of each SA

3.3.8Service Action Review Board (SARB) disposition history of previous revisions of each SA

3.3.9Incorporation history by aircraft tail number for previous revisions of each SA

3.3.10Contractor implementation recommendations for each SA
