Paragraph 1105 of Part 121 of Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) defines reporting requirements to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for records reviews of aging airplanes. The purpose of this report is to maintain a cumulative record of repairs and alterations on aircraft to support FAA reporting requirements.
This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content for the data product resulting from the work task specified in the contract.

1Reference documentsNOTE: Any applicable updates or changes to 14 CFR, Section 121.1105(d) shall apply to this report and be incorporated at the next revision/update. Any updates or changes to 14 CFR, Section 121.1105(d) that result in cost changes will be addressed under a contract modification.

3ContentThe report shall contain the following information related to the program:

3.5Corporate name and address
3.6Signature block(s) showing corporate release approval
3.7Security classification
3.8Distribution statement
3.10Data contentas defined in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 14 (14 CFR) Section 121.1105(d), items (i) through (x), shall be provided for each aircraft in the fleet from the date of delivery for each aircraft. These data points are:
3.10.1Total years in service of the airplane
3.10.2Total time in service of the airframe
3.10.3Total flight cycles of the airframe
3.10.4Date of the last inspection and records review required by this section
3.10.5Current status of life-limited parts of the airframe
3.10.6Time since the last overhaul of all structural components required to be overhauled on a specific time basis
3.10.7Current inspection status of the airplaneincluding the time since the last inspection required by the inspection program under which the airplane is maintained
3.10.8Current status of applicable airworthiness directivesincluding the date and methods of compliance, and if the airworthiness directive involves recurring action, the time and date when the next action is required.
3.10.9A list of major structural alterations
3.10.10A report of major structural repairs and the current inspection status for those repairs
