The Test Progress Report outlines progress in achieving performance objectives at every level of testing on systems or equipment. It provides the procuring activity with the test progress status.

This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format, content, and intended use for the data product resulting from the work task described in the contract Statement of Work/Performance Work Statement.

Preparation Instructions

1Reference documentsThe applicable issue of the documents cited herein, including their approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions, shall be as specified in the contract.

3ContentsThe Test Progress Report shall be organized into the following sections:

3.1ScopeThis section shall be divided into the following sub-sections:

3.1.1Test Articles

3.1.1.1All test articles with a schedule and list of tests including test sequence, and status for each test in tabular form

3.1.2Status Report

3.1.2.1Description of each test and all significant data obtained

3.1.2.2Detail of test results, conclusions, reinforcements, modifications and necessary changes to test assets

3.1.2.3Spectrum progress at the time of report

3.1.2.4Design conditions and maximum loads attained

3.1.2.5Modifications to test articlesAll modifications to the test articles to permit attainment of test loads, not previously covered in the description of test articles report, shall be described, including photographs and sketches as appropriate.

3.1.2.6Test summaries consisting of supplemental pagesincluding a discussion of test results, conclusions, discussion of compliance with specification requirements, deficiencies disclosed, reinforcements, the flight or production articles in which reinforcements will or will not be incorporated, the effect of the test on the test program, flight program, evaluation of the weapons system, and delivery of the aircraft.

3.1.2.7Significant achievementsthe attainment of significant achievements, goals, or milestones during the static test program.
