The Parts, Materials, and Processes (PM&P) Management Plan will be used to obtain essential information from contractors resulting from the work task described in the solicitation. The PM&P Plan will document the processes that the contractor will utilize to address the requirements of the current version of MIL-STD-11991.
Preparation Instructions
1Reference documentsThe applicable issue of the documents cited herein, including their approval dates, and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions shall be as specified in the contract.
2FormatThe PM&P Plan shall be submitted electronically in contractor format. In addition, the PM&P List shall be in a spreadsheet or database format that will enable the government to sort and analyze the content.
3ContentThe PM&P Plan shall include provisions for optimizing reliability and standardization through all phases of the system life cycle to the lowest indenture level. In addition, the plan shall address all requirements in Sections 4 and 5 of MIL-STD-11991, General Standard for Parts, Materials, and Processes. The plan shall contain a PM&P List containing the following information for each section below.
3.1HeadingThe Heading Section shall include the following:
aCAGE code of the contractor
bPM&P List control number
cPM&P List revision number
3.2Electronic PartsThe Electronic Parts (as defined in Section 3 of MIL-STD-11991) Section shall include the following:
aManufacturer part number, with no wildcards
bCAGE code of the manufacturer
dNext higher assembly drawing number
3.3Mechanical PartsThe Mechanical Parts (as defined in Section 3 of MIL-STD-11991) Section shall include the following:
aManufacturer or Military (MIL) part number, with no wildcards
bCAGE code of the manufacturer
dNext higher assembly drawing number
3.4MaterialsThe Materials Section shall include the following:
aSupplier/Manufacturer part number, with no wildcards, or Trade Name
bCAGE code of the manufacturer
