This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement delineated in the contract.
This DID is applicable to all contracts involving the development or revision of Damage Control Books and Diagrams for U.S. Navy surface ships.
This DID supersedes DI-TMSS-80514, DI-TMSS-80515, and DI-TMSS-80516.

10.1Reference DocumentsThe applicable issue of the NAVSEA Technical Specification (NTS) 9090-820 cited herein, including its approval date and dates of any applicable amendments, notices and revisions, shall be as specified in the contract.
10.2Format and ContentThe format and content of the surface ship Damage Control Books and Diagrams shall be in accordance with the requirements of NAVSEA Technical Specification (NTS) 9090-820 entitled: Preparation and Revision of Damage Control Books and Diagrams for U.S. Navy Surface Ships.
10.3Media RequirementsThe damage control books and diagrams media requirements shall be as specified in the contract.
