Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) manuals may be used as is or with supplementation to support COTS equipment used by DOD. This Data Item Description (DID) is used to acquire supplemental data for existing COTS manuals to make them fully suitable for Government use.

This DID contains the format and content preparation instruction for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract.

Preparation Instructions
